CHAP (Community Hygiene Assistance Program)
This program supplies personal hygiene products which are not covered by public assistance fronds. Some examples are:
- Feminine Hygiene Products
- Laundry Detergent
- Toothbrushes, Toothpaste and Deodorant
- Dish Detergent
- Shampoo and Soap
The Bernice Gould Memorial Fund Allocation Grants
The Bernice Gould Fund exists to support new or existing programs run by charitable or non-profit organizations that have outreach programs serving an identifiable community. Funds are limited and competitive. Preference is given to projects with smaller budgets where our grant would make a significant difference and organizations that have not been previously assisted.

The CHOW pantry is open on the 3rd and 4th Mondays and Wednesdays of each month from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Referrals are required. Dial 211 to get a referral.
Canteen at Trinity Memorial Church, Binghamton, NY
On the fifth Sunday of the month, various groups of parishioners prepare the free lunch at the Canteen. St. Paul’s provides the funding for the meal, members of the church provide salad, fruit and dessert; each group hosts the clients who dine at the Canteen. Annual Eunice Barton Ice Cream Social
On the second Wednesday of every August, the neighborhood gathers for a free Ice Cream Social on the lawn of the church. The ice cream is graciously provided by the family of Eunice Barton who chaired this event until her passing.
Sharing Closet
On the last Saturday of each month St. Paul’s offers free, gently used clothing to anyone in need. The closet is open from 3:00 – 5:00 PM; all are invited to “shop” here.
