Worship Support

Acolytes are youth and adults who enhance the Service by leading the Liturgical ministers in procession by carrying the cross and candles.  In some churches they are known as altar servers.

Altar Guild members ensure that all vessels and linens are prepared for each of our Services.

Counters tally and deposit the weekly offerings.

Eucharistic Ministers are confirmed men and women who are authorized to administer the Consecrated elements at the Service of Holy Communion.

Eucharistic Visitors visit the ill and homebound and bring them Holy Communion.

A Lay Assistant is a confirmed person of the congregation who assists in the Service by being a Lector, leading the Creed and Prayers and administering the chalice at Holy Communion.

Our Lectors proclaim the Word of God in our Sunday Services.
